We are excited to welcome three new stylists to our team!
Amy Welch has recently moved back to Wichita from Brunswick, Maine and is happy to be back in her hometown, where she started her career as a stylist 17 years ago. Amy loves studying the latest trends and helping guests transition to the newest styles. She specializes in hair color, and has had extensive training in advanced techniques, like ombre and balayage. She stays busy with her four active children, ages 6 to 16, playing games, camping and spending time outdoors. Amy is happy to be back in Wichita and is looking forward to seeing clients she has worked with in the past and meeting new ones. She works at our west location.
Brittany Thimmesch has also recently moved to Wichita from California with her husband and 13 year old daughter. She started her career in the beauty industry 12 years ago working in guest services in an Aveda salon when she decided to go to cosmetology school to become a stylist. Working in an Aveda Lifestyle store for many years, Brittany focused on taking classes to perfect her skills. One of her favorite experiences came from the opportunity to work behind the scenes at Fashion Week in New York City, getting models ready for the runway. Brittany loves all aspects of hair services, from cuts and colors to giving the hair texture with perms. What she loves best about doing hair is seeing the final result, and the difference it makes in how guests feel. She works at our east location.
Brenna Johnson has always wanted to be a stylist, but decided to give college a try first. While pursuing a degree in psychology and nursing, Brenna decided she had to follow her dream to become a stylist and quit college for cosmetology school, graduating in August. Loving big transitions, Brenna specializes in hair color and special occasion styles and updo’s, especially for weddings. She is fearless and loves to try new styles and techniques. While in school, Brenna knew she wanted to come to work with Charisma, where she could learn about Aveda products and be part of an inspirational team. When she walked in our door the first time, she knew she had found her home. She works at our east location.
